House passes long-term care bill

The Massachusetts House of Representatives passed legislation to improve the quality and oversight of the Long Term Care industry, by supporting and expanding the workforce, enhancing oversight of facilities, and ensuring greater access, all while prioritizing quality of care.
 
The bill responds to recommendations made by the 2020 Nursing Facility Task Force and Rep. Hogan is grateful to Speaker Mariano, Elder Affairs Committee Chairs Stanley and Lawn for their efforts on this important issue. H.4178, An Act to improve quality and oversight of long-term care now goes to the Senate for their consideration.
