MassDOT invites local delegates to tour Worcester facility

The ‘District Three’ elected officials joined MassDOT Secretary Tibbits-Nutt, Highway Administrator Gulliver, and Highway Director Barry Lorian for a tour of the MassDOT Highway District 3 Central MA Transportation Center in Worcester.

Legislators were welcomed to a new building that is forward-thinking in design and performance and a showcase for net zero energy use. The staff took time to provide an overview and an update on planning, maintenance, and engineering projects in the district that stretches from Fitchburg to Framingham.
