Congressman McGovern joins the Legislature’s Commission on Agriculture for a hearing on food security in the Commonwealth

Congressman McGovern joined the 21st Century Agriculture Commission’s fifth public hearing on November 16 to discuss food security in the Commonwealth. The Commission heard from testifiers on statewide and regional food security trends in Massachusetts; the role and contribution of Massachusetts farms and farmers in combating food insecurity and strengthening our food system; and a regional approach to food system resilience.
