SUMMER 2025 INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
College and High School Students from Bolton, Hudson, Maynard and Stow Encouraged to Apply
BOSTON – April 14, 2025 – The Office of State Representative Kate Hogan (D-Stow) is accepting applications for its summer 2025 internship program. These internships offer civic-minded young people first-hand experience in state government and a chance to learn about the various public service jobs and careers college that exist in Massachusetts. College and high school students from the Third Middlesex District towns of Bolton, Hudson, Maynard and Stow are encouraged to apply.

Summer Internship for College Students — The Office of State Representative Kate Hogan offers summer internships for college students who are from Bolton, Hudson, Maynard or Stow during the summer months of June and July. Interns will assist the Representative’s office staff with research and other work and have the opportunity to participate in State House activities, such as hearings, briefings and events. They will also participate in the State House’s summer intern speaker series – a bipartisan seminar series organized specifically for State House interns in which constitutional officers, legislators, and advocates speak about their jobs and responsibilities. The internships are unpaid and require approximately 15-20 hours per week. The program is limited to two interns per summer. Applicants must complete an application and submit it with their resume by May 15. Interested candidates should first email [email protected].
Summer “Week on Beacon Hill” for High School students — The Office of State Representative Kate Hogan offers week-long, experiential internships for students from Bolton, Maynard, Hudson or Stow, who have completed their junior or senior year of high school. The “Week on Beacon Hill” is held Tuesday through Thursday, from approximately 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interns will experience the capitol building, assist with projects in Representative Hogan’s office, and participate in the State House’s summer intern speaker series – a bipartisan seminar series organized specifically for State House interns in which constitutional officers, legislators, and advocates speak about their jobs and responsibilities. The program is limited to 2-4 interns per session. Applicants must complete an application and submit it by May 15. Interested candidates should first email [email protected].
