House passes bill to protect against “revenge porn”

The Massachusetts House of Representatives took up and voted to pass H4241 which combines several separate legislative initiatives to help to prevent abuse and exploitation and enhance protections for survivors, including banning the nonconsensual transmission of explicit images, often referred to as “revenge porn.”
 
Rep. Hogan appreciates Speaker Mariano’s and HWM Chair Michlewitz’s efforts to advance this bill and is grateful to Reps. Day, Haggerty, Higgins, Kilcoyne, Nguyen and Roy for their efforts.
