Veterans Day 2022 in the Third Middlesex District kicked-off in Bolton where Hometown Heroes volunteers at Bolton Orchards welcomed Veterans with Apple Cider donuts, coffee and more.
In Hudson, a Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony, were, as always, organized by Hudson VSO Brian Stearns Amvets Post #208, Commander Joe Jacobs, and Hudson VFW Post # 1027. Marching Veterans and Hudson Police Color Guard were joined by the Assabet Regional High Marine Corp Junior ROTC, Hudson High Marching Band & Director Jason Caron – as well as the Hudson Girls and Boy Scouts. Rep. Hogan was honored to deliver remarks, along with Hudson Selectboard member Shawn Sadowski. The parade was led by the Hudson Police & Fire Departments to Town Hall for the Ceremony.
The Maynard Veterans Day Observance began at Town Hall and marched to Memorial Park. Participants included the Maynard HS Band, Maynard Girls & Boys Scouts, and Maynard Selectboard Members, including Chair Jeff Swanberg, Chris DiSilva, Justine St. John, and David Gavin. Thank you to the The Veterans Day committee, including Kim Lalli and Andrea Tobin and the Maynard Emblem Club.
Stow provided a “Drive-Thru” lunch to all Veterans and spouses, organized by the Nashoba Rotary Club. Our police and fire chief came by to say hello, as well as Town Hall and Board members.
